More shows should be as much fun as this one was! I've been watching Rag Rage for two and a half years now... And it's insane how CRAZY kids go when they see them now!!! Here's this group of really sweet kids that write good pop songs. And when they play it's either completely packed or there's a bunch of kids flipping out over it during the entire set. This time someone went flying into the mic stand mid-song. It nailed Britt dead in the mouth so hard that it knocked her completely over! When Morgan asked if she was ok Britt only replied "It's cool, I just split my lip" and continued to play! This skinny little 90lb girl is harder than most guys I know...haha! Morgan got me good when she was setting her kit up too. One of the wing nuts flew out of her hand while setting up cymbals and she just stuck her hand out without looking and caught it. Then yelled "Please tell me someone saw that!!" while I was falling over laughing. I wish I could catch them more often... Anyway, then In Defence got up. They had me cracking up during their entire set talking shit about everyone and everything. Like how they were glad to be back here after almost getting in a fight for saying something bad about pizza during their last set. What? They kept asking the drummer if they could do another song without him shitting himself too. Because he ate a bad burrito or something the day before. Totally busting his balls about it the entire time! One of the funniest moments though was when I noticed Kevin Roberts on the other side of the room, going nuts over In Defence's set, doing the "I really wanna dance but I'll hurt my back so I'll just wave my arms back and forth" dance. When I told him about that after the show he was all "Please tell me you didn't take a picture of that!". He was too far across the room to unfortunately...haha!
