"Why are you crying, you don't see ME crying over the stuff you do."
"See, this is why you need me, you can't do anything on your own."
"You're so naive and small-minded, of course, you wouldn't have seen it. You dug yourself your own grave."
"You're such an ungrateful and selfish daughter, I thought I raised you better."
"I'm saying all of this out of love."
"I'm saying this because I care."
"It's better you hear it from me than someone else."
"I'm all you've got; no one else will care as much as I do."
I can go on and fucking on about each deep-cutting word. The discomfort of not being able to express emotion, the fear of not having a "home", the lack of understanding from a person you think you can trust with everything.
This scene cut me fucking deeper and deeper each time I see it.
I will NEVER forgive Caine for this scene bc it cut too deeply.
NEVER
