hey, cam. i know we haven’t really met yet because tyler always goes to your place, but i guess i just wanted to say that you really mean a lot to him. i’m sure he tells you that a lot, but i wanted you to hear it from someone else in case you have any doubts in your mind. tyler’s different with you, you know? he’s not the kind of guy who would get into relationships and yet here you are. you’d have to be pretty special to lock someone like my brother down, and if the way he talks about you is anything to go by, well — you must be a lot more special than the sun, the moon, and all of the stars combined. you changed him, cam. i’ve never seen him like this. i’m not saying he wasn’t happy before, because he was, doing whatever he and his stupid friends did when they were together — but that was nothing compared to how content he is now that he’s with you. he’s actually doing his schoolwork now, and working lots of part-time jobs when all he did before was skip class and party. you gave him something to live for, something other than booze and pissing off as many teachers as he possibly can. i like to think that he would have woken up and faced reality sometime in the future, stopped fooling around and actually started taking life seriously, but you gave him the push he needed. i guess what i’m trying to say is — you make him a better person, cam, and i’m extremely grateful for it. elliott.

Dear best friend,

Camden, you mean so much to me. You’ve been there for me through everything, and in kind of a super cheesy way, I hope we’re friends for a really long time. We tell each other everything, and it’s nice to have someone to talk to. I don’t have a lot of friends. Maybe one day, you’ll marry Tyler and I’ll marry Fletcher, and then we can both have lots of babies and they can grow up to be best friends just like us. I think I’d like that a lot.
