Man, I am really glad other people are watching the Witcher show and sharing the good gifs, because the more I hear about it (turning Geralt into an edgy, angsty bastard who is mean to Dandelion; whatever the fuck they did to Eskel; stripping the nuance from the dragon hunt, and the different perspectives) the more I fucking loathe it. But it is so pretty! The acting looks amazing! The character designs are beautiful! The actors are on point! And the soundtrack. That soundtrack.

And then they just ruined it all, and I am so annoyed by that. Because the books are genuinely good! The story is good! The world is misogynistic, but this is portrayed as a bad thing, like it should not be this way. The characters are nuanced, and I had such high hopes when they said they would be making a tv show of it, and then they fucked it up. And I am...so annoyed about that.
