further naruto thoughts:

gaara is aromantic, because i don’t think i was clear in my previous post but i see him having a very messed up relationship with his sex drive because it definitely used to be one of those ‘indulge and shukaku will take over’ things - whether this is strictly true or if it’s something he was ‘taught’ to keep him in line, i couldn’t tell you but i don’t think anyone wanted the resident Killing Machine ~doing sex things at any point but in the future, post-resurrection, i feel like he’d be very... sincerely neutral? like he’s not really fussed one way or the other and he probably doesn’t feel much sexual attraction if he feels any at all - i feel like gaara’s attractions and desires stem more from an observance of someone’s competency (or whathaveyou) and less from anything else about a person  (hence the: rock lee and naruto meet his standards. period) (there is a small weird part of my heart that ships hinata/gaara though HMM)

also i’m pretty sure tsunade is (???)romantic bisexual. i haven’t decided what kind of feelings she has for shizune yet

(also there’s a part of me that (well, a] has very vague canon knowledge, but also) firmly believes that obito/kakashi was a one-sided thing before everything went to hell on The Mission) (kakashi is super picky demi/demi, and i think i ship him with sakura, somewhere in the post-timeskip universe) (second & third options are iruka and gai. he also has a weird crush, if super special copy-nin kakashi hatake can admit having crushes, on tsunade. she’s just scary. it’s cool.)

(naruto is an equal-opportunity bisexual panromantic who just LOVES PEOPLE okay. naruto literally loves so hard i can see it brighter than the sun)

(shikamaru is heterosexual aromantic. he and temari have some kind of life partnership, i think. sex when either of them want it and no need for feelings. (temari is lithromantic bisexual and also INCREDIBLY repressed until sometime after gaara dies and is resurrected i think. timeline is currently unclear)

shino is nearly-celibate because of Aburame Family Reasons but is heteromantic ??????? bisexual i think. (had a crush on hinata for a while but. i mean. everyone knows that’s not really a pursuable option for a long time)

i’m pretty sure darling angel rock lee is ace

and i’m pretty sure gaara is demi except his standards (and he doesn’t even know he has them) are so high that like. maybe two people in everything i ever know of canon would make the bar
