( ✧ .・゜゜Carrie wasn’t sure why she’d arrived at the offices. She’d started walking... then just kept walking, and it had been the first place that she’d recognised. She’d been to a function there once, the Washingtons... they owned this place. She shook the door, managing to pry it free before stumbling up the stairs towards the offices. Palms came out flat against the door, banging once and then twice. She called out, and when she did her voice was hoarse with pain and struggling panic. 

❝ Mr Washington..... Josh? ...Jake? Fuck... somebody? ❞

( ✧ .・゜゜ She instantly hates herself for being so raw, he hadn’t been so polite himself... but normally she was brilliant at keeping a lid on anger and annoyance. Perhaps the positive emotions that Josh bring out in her are mirrored by emotions on the negative end of the spectrum.

     ❛  do  you  think  that  mom  and  dad  will  let  me  have  a  party  up  at  the  lodge  in  a  few  weeks?  ❜  if  anyone  knows  the  answer  to  this  question,  it’s  her  brother.  ❛  because,  i  mean,  we’re  all  about  to  graduate,  and-  ❜  she  cuts  herself  off,  deciding  that  her  point  has  been  made.  she  turns  hopeful  eyes  to  her  brother  and  awaits  his  response  with  bated  breath.
