Summary:
Remus’s world has been silent ever since he’d lost his hearing in an accident at age five. Life might be easier if anyone around him could sign, but in the small village he was stuck in, even his father had never made an effort to learn. So, Remus lived in quiet isolation, caring for a man who could barely communicate with, an a head full of thoughts he can never fully share. Then a reckless driver nearly runs him off the road, and suddenly, that same stranger keeps showing up in Remus's dull life everywhere he looked. He’s frustratingly attractive, unexpectedly kind, and, to Remus’s surprise, even starts learning sign language. It feels like someone is finally listening. But he was only doing this because he felt guilty for nearly running Remus over… right?
