I need to get out and run, but for now I’ll just plan the running ;)
Our team is getting all set for Ragnar Niagara next year!
We are running it as an ultra. I have never been to Niagara, so I’m pretty excited for this race. And everyone on the team has done a Ragnar before, so it is even easier to plan. Although, this will be @kcowgill‘s first road ragnar. He is brave to make his first an ultra! lol ;)
The team is paid up. Volunteer exemption is done. The van is reserved. Four out of six passports are all set. Not sure if we will do shirts or magnets. And the rest of the planning will happen a little closer to race day. We are going to wait to pick who is running which legs (who knows who will be trained for what). We also need to figure out how to divide up the legs. We’ve narrowed it down to a few options.
I do really enjoy captaining Ragnars. Helps me put some of my organizational skills to use.
Our team name, Gluten Free Ultra Tour Bus, is a bit of an inside joke. But, that is what makes it fun :)
It is going to be A LOT of driving and time in a 15 passenger van. Hopefully we don’t kill too many of us. It is about 7-8 hour drive there and back. And of course the time during the race. We don’t plan to get a hotel. If we can divide up the driving well enough, we should be ok to make it back without stopping.
Now, we just have to wait 254 days! :P
