Happy birthday Hazama!! Like always, every time I'm like 'hey maybe I should draw my OTP from a fighting game, well, actually fighting, my touch-starved ass brain is like 'no, bad, draw them being soft and tender and cheesy instead' (repeat 2000 times).
From the get-go my approach was to make a springtime-based drawing - the addition of butterflies was just a natural progression cause I feel they add a bigger sense of freedom to the drawing if that makes sense? I wanted to draw them expressing happiness, freedom, relief.

Well uh. I didn't really have anything better for Ragna's birthday due to time constraints, and I probably won't be able to upload this tomorrow due to having things to do, so today it is (it's his birthday in Japan anyways so).
Started out drawing this as a way to practise abdominals, then one thing led to another and... yeah. My intention was to accurately portray his bed-shapedness (he is very cuddly and Hazama agrees).

Been a while- My health's been flimsy at best these last couple weeks, I've not been very motivated to draw and I'm afraid I've run into artblock, but I managed to bring back this sketch I had sitting somewhere for who knows how long and finish it.
Been inclined to draw bed scenes lately, I guess because they offer some intimacy and comfort, and I feel at ease when drawing them.

For the longest time I wanted to draw something about these two. They're practically my Blazblue OTP if anything, but backgrounds are still the thing I struggle with the most. I still gave it a try though, and I think I like it- I still have a lot to learn but practice makes perfect, as they say.
I love emphasizing the size difference between species, although something tells me I should've made Hazama a wee smaller?
Also, for anyone wondering - sorry for the very infrequent uploads. March and April are/are going to be the busiest months for me this year, and even though I have indeed been drawing quite a few things, most of them haven't been finished due to lack of time. Hopefully I still can upload stuff on ocassion.

2021 has been a year of big changes, and I'm rather surprised with myself. Never did I think I'd end up finding myself in more fandoms. But I'm so happy! I hope this incoming year is even more full of surprises <3
