God I love the word Alopanthrope so much
it's kinda funny that terraria is like the only media with a werefox in it, but I don't like terraria
Love your Alpha!Ryland story. It got me thinking that in a AU where were animals exist, I think Ryland would be a werefox. Foxes are family oriented just not in a big pack way, the males help out to raise the kits and they are monogamous. While foxes are predators they are not the top predator and have this shyness/carefull ness that reminds me of Ryland.
okay this has been sitting in my inbox for a minute and i so wish i knew more about wereanimals because this is AMAZING (like is this a world where everyone is aware of wereanimals or is it like a secret? is everyone a wereanimal or are there regular humans? i am so full of questions).
i love the idea of him as a werefox!! when he transforms his coat is that beautiful red and is so fluffy and comfortable. he doesn't nest. he makes a DEN. so cozy and dark and protected. do werefoxes still have mates? like a predestined thing? if so.......the possibilities.
