big guy caught!
I'm usually not a big fan of the max battles in Pokémon Go. I've never thought it was worth a trip into town and attempting to congregate a group to raid with, since the feature isn't really that important to me. Mostly because it's really reliant on being with other people and thanks to my social anxiety and the fact that the community for Belfast isn't too major, meant I couldn't really get into it.
Though today I was already in town and had known about the raid day and decided to chance my arm and see if I can slip in to a raid. Gigantamax Snorlax is one of my favourite designs for a Pokémon ever (I think gmax mons are quite overlooked) and really wanted to snag one for my collection. Not even looking for good IVs or usefulness in the max battles, just wanted one of the guy in my collection to look at.
After a 10 minute wander around city centre, a party started to form at a max raid spot that I had to jog a little to get to. I got in with 17 other people and successfully caught myself the big guy :DD was pretty weird because I didn't find the party of people I was raiding with, they must've walked off as soon as they queued which was a bit of a bummer, but I was happy. 🩵✨
