It’s okay XD, is that the doc they funded that they use to try and promote themselves? (cant stand bronies)
There is a common belief that all Bronies are fedora wearing middle aged men and or teenager momma's boys who fetishize a demographically correct "little girls' show."
This isn't true.
I know I'm a woman, but I'm not blind. I don't just see it in a little girl's perspective. If you give the show a chance, you might actually notice that the show has a lot of good messages for guys and girls alike -- including TOLERANCE for people who are different than you are. For someone who has actually seen the passed generations of MLP, I can honestly tell you it's not the same as it used to be. The characters have a lot of depth. Rainbow Dash used to be so different before this generation. She wasn't nearly as sporty and tomboyish. She used to call everyone "Darling" and she was obsessed with fashion. Reminded me a lot of Rarity. Pinkie Pie wasn't as hyperactive and as much of a party animal like she is now. Compared to this generation, she was much more toned down. All the ponies were so similar and there didn't seem to be much character development.
And NEVER have I seen such a huge fanbase for one television show. Never.
Also, it's not just guys. Women like this show too.
Another misconception is that all these guys are gay. I can tell you first hand that this isn't true, because when I was in college, I knew a Brony who hit on me constantly. I didn't reject him because he was a Brony. He just simply wasn't the guy for me.
He was very open about being a Brony. Not ONCE did I hear or suspect that he, to keep it PG, was "in love" with the ponies.
There are strange people in every fandom. It doesn't matter if it's Batman, or Transformers, or My Little Pony. There are going to be douche bags and creeps and freaks; but there are also genuinely nice people that are often overlooked because they DON'T get as much attention as the aforementioned bronies get.
TL;DR -- don't judge an entire community because of what you've read on the internet or seen for yourself. It just isn't practical, and it isn't true.
