Ran outside to start my first #pokemongo raid and there were at least 5 more that popped up on my way to this one. I got there and was able to watch the egg hatch to see...#magikarp 😂👏🏻 I wasn't even mad because since I just started I wanted an easy opponent but jfc. Before the battle, it gave me about 1 minute to choose my team and wait for anyone else in the area to join the battle (there was a password to join and everything - forgot to take a photo!) but it was just me so I obviously won alone lol. The results screen showed the percentage of what team helped out and it gave me some items; Golden Razz Berry and some #rarecandy which converts itself into 1 #pokemon candy (also got some revives but since it was magikarp I didn't need any lol). It asked me to join a 'bonus challenge' which was the chance to catch whatever the raid pokémon was and I got it (obviously 😂). They showed me a cool symbol above the gym to say that the raid was successful and..that was it. You get 1 free #raidpass a day by spinning the gym photo so I'm unable to play unless I get one from the shop. I wish there were more people because it would have been hilarious to see everyone's face when magikarp appeared 👏🏻 #pokemongoraid
