That should have worked on her. What kind of mind did she have? Taking a small stunned step back, she narrowed her eyes, before immediately drawing her sword right up to The Doctor's neck. "Where are they?"

Oh, it would be so easy to do it. It would be so easy to just let death take him; to get one final jab in there. It would be brilliant; the idea that she could've saved him, but was denied the opportunity. It had happened before, and he could taste the same idea ; the same words creeping up on his lips. The temptation to be spiteful; petty; to hurt her through the connection they both knew they had. It was big. And it took all he had not to.
Because for once, there was something more important than The Doctor. A mission; a scheme, that she was in no way involved - well, yet, anyway. And just the idea of the pure potential was enough to choke out a sardonic laugh.
"Whatcha gonna do, love? It looks pretty fatal, if you ask me."
@rainbcwhearts liked this for Sylvie
That was the curse of all Lokis, wasn't it? Ending up alone? At the end of the timeline; with the creation of thousands of other timestreams happening, she was faced with the possibility to go anywhere; anytime. She had evaded the TVA in her own timeline spectacularly, for years. Going into the multiverse.... would make her impossible to find.
But what would she do? She had completed her mission. What was her purpose?
And.... what about him? Goddammit, why hadn't he seen it her way? Sylvie twisted the TemPad in her fingers, eyes finally diverting from the branching timeline. And... she breathed. Her own timeline didn't exist. So.... So it was time to explore.
Random coordinates, random timeline; she opened up a portal and just stepped through, leaving the house at the end of time alone.
And instinctually, the first thing was duck and cover. Since when did a Midgard police box fly? And since when did they crash?
And of course, why the hell did she keep running into warzones?
"Oi! You nearly took my head off!" She accused, yelling over the sounds to the lady that had just appeared.
@rainbcwhearts asked: [ poke ] in the arm ((from demon doctor))
being physically touched by an actual demon scared the shit out of him. alfred was afraid he would faint. still, he managed to keep his cool this time, shakily stepping back and putting a hand over his arm where she’d poked him. “do you, um…” he paused, letting out a breath. “do you need something?”
@rainbcwhearts asked: “It’s not as simple as that.”
alfred was not used to seeing someone whose eyes had seemingly been… cut out? discolored? how could he describe the devilish eyes staring into his own? he was frightened, scared out of his mind, but he could not show it. he was a king, a christian king. god, please save me from this nightmare of a dream, he thought.
“who are you?” alfred couldn’t stare at those eyes any longer; he was afraid he’d faint if he did. so, he turned around, shaking his head and letting out a breath. was this a legitimate demon standing in front of him? if so… he clasped his hands together, lowering his head and silently praying for a way out. his eyes closed, and after a moment, he seemed calmer, but he still didn’t turn back around. “what happened to you?”
@rainbcwhearts asked: “What, is that a conspiracy theory?” ((dustin please!))
Dustin was in complete shock as he stared at the alien in front of him. Yes, there was a fucking alien in front of him. He was at a loss for words as she picked up his drawing of what he imagined a spaceship looking like and asked that question. “You… you speak English?” He was stunned. “How? How… why… oh my god, I’m dreaming.”
“Cat got your tongue, my dear Doctor? You’ve been awfully quiet.”
@rainbcwhearts liked this for a one-liner.
@rainbcwhearts liked for Delia
Delia’s memory was beginning to improve — it was tortuously slow progress but progress nonetheless — most of the time she could remember that she was having issues with her memory, and usually also remembered why, but there were still gaps. In the moment, for example, the woman stood before her was looking at Delia expectantly and the shorter woman had no idea why. "I’m sorry,” she cringed internally, it felt like an apology note should just be plastered to her forehead, “do I know you?”
