*the sound of soft footsteps can be heard approaching, stopping just in front of their door. After a short pause there's a knock at the door, gentle humming can be heard outside of it*
*There wasn't much of an answer that came even after a few seconds have passed, the silence thick and heavy as a few fumes of what looked like fog had begun to slip under the cracks of the door.*
PRAISE TO THE ALMIGHTY!
PRAISE TO THE LORD!
PRAISE TO HE,
COLOURED RBG!
my lord! You like? X]
I was seeing those rifts in my vision so often, i thought drawing out the things I saw would soothe me.
I tried my best with the stolen paints i found in a craft store.. I even drew me!!
consider this a gift of my faith..? 🌈
[*The god stared at the art piece, seemingly not understanding..*]
“It’s..very nice, thank you mortal..”
[*He takes the art from rainbow, staring more closely at it. He seems touched by the prayer and art itself..how rare for him.*]
“I bless you, my dearest mortal. Come hither.”
[*RGB takes the anon in his hands(motherfucker is the size of like the a big ass tower) and placed a kiss on their forehead. Very out of character for him, you must’ve made him very very happy.*]
Hey, Cowboy… make sure if you do leave, that 🌈 knows what you were wanting to tell them. That your first death wasn’t their fault… and that they shouldn’t blame themselves for it. Maybe even that you want them to live a happy and long life, even if it’s without you…
Because, watching as a rat as they fell apart without you… it was sad, and they struggled to even listen to a word anyone said. Wouldn’t even speak for a long time… it got bad, Vaine. They nearly would have seen you in the afterlife early, had you not came back. :(
(Btw mod, I’m chuckling at how funny but interesting it is that his fate relies on 🌈 again. It’s like rolling a d20 and hoping for the best and worst)
Course I'll make sure, I may not've known all that but... course I will. They gotta know anyhow.
All that really happened? All that bad stuff when I was gone? Can't be, they don't need me that much... do they?
How do you stay motivated when writing a fic? I’m always really motivated for something, I write the first chapter or two, and then it’s all gone :(

oh I used to struggle really hard with this. as I've gotten older I've gotten a bit better at self discipline and also figuring out which stories I'm going to be able to keep going with vs ones I'll get bored of but it requires a lot of trial and error (and considering I still have some abandoned fics it's not a skill I've completely mastered)
here a few 'hacks' I've figured out over the years though!
be careful how you outline. if you're doing a multi chapter fic and you're like me then your first instinct might be to plot out every single chapter before you start writing so you know what direction you're going in. while it's good to know where you're heading, I've found that for myself over plotting can be the enemy to motivation. a technique I use for my long fics is that when I first start the fic I will typically know what's going to happen in the first 2-3 chapters, I have a few random scenes in my head that I know will happen somewhere vaguely in the middle, and then I'll know the ending but that's it. I leave most of the middle stuff blank. this leaves me a lot of room to change and add things to the story as I go, plotting out only 1-2 chapters at a time so that if I have an idea while writing a chapter I have the freedom to go in that direction instead of being forced to stick to an outline. not knowing exactly what's going to happen can help keep your interest in the story so you don't get bored of it.
don't write the good stuff first. we all know the feeling when you have an incredible scene in your head that inspires you to build an entire story around it. or you might have a few scenes you're incredible excited for but they require a ton of build up to get there. I understand how tempting it is to write those first and figure out the rest of the story later, but my advice is to restrain yourself. if you only have a few scenes you're super excited to write and then you write them... well, what motivation do you have for writing all the boring stuff? you've already written the part you wanted to write. personally, I find I have to force myself to write only in chronological order if I ever want to finish anything. I also find that this lets me really get into the groove and tone of the story so that by the time I do get to those scenes I'm really excited for, I can pull them off much better than I would be able to do if I wrote them first before writing the rest of the fic. while you don't necessarily have to write in chronological order like I do, I recommend holding yourself back from writing all the best scenes right out of the gate.
buckle down. this is the least helpful tip tbh but it's also unfortunately true. sometimes you just have to sit down and force yourself to type. even if it feels impossible you just have to turn off all other distractions and try to get the juices flowing again. sometimes this doesn't work but sometimes it does. it might feel like scraping melted plastic off a table but once you get back into the rhythm it gets easier.
I had an argument with someone about two days ago and I need to know something.
Did Adam sa Lovely in a way? He kidnapped them, tortured them, tranced them so that they called out for Vincent, couldn't say no, couldn't say help or stop, they couldn't say Vincent only Adam, and couldn't move. He fed on them without their consent till they blacked out, then woke them up to feed on them again. So I'm just wondering does it count? Because to me it certainly does
