(Making memes out of the pictures of people I know. Day 1)
If you are a loss parent facing secondary infertility, or secondary loss, or just can not bring yourself to try again for a rainbow baby, yo
I’m very *used* to managing my triggers and and my pain and not shoving it off on anyone else.
But the rainbow baby thing.
Some of us stand over coffins and that’s it. There is no happy every after. There is no getting what you wanted.
There’s pets and nieces/nephews and new jobs and different lives and that’s just...what it is.
So the incessant “every storm ends in a rainbow” is just-a lie. It’s not true.
Not everybody gets a rainbow.
Rainbow Babies
Soooo there were 2 babies in there and they both had heartbeats! Glad they’re so far so good but I was not expecting twins!! New due date April 30th. I’m earlier still than thought due to having high hormones with the twins. It’s still sinking in!
And then my soul saw you and it kind of went....
Oh there you are.
I've been looking for you.

Reintroduction
A lot has changed since I was last on, but I'd like to make a come back so here we go *deep breath*.
So when last we spoke I was about to finish breastfeeding my miracle baby boy in a month or so and put myself back on the keto diet. (For those that are new and may not remember, it took 5 years, failed IVF, and multiple specialists telling us our odds were less than 5% of getting pregnant even with IVF, one specialist even refused to try without donor eggs. I took a break from TTC to go back to grad school for my NP so we could afford the donor eggs. Found out I was pregnant as I was starting my last clinical rotation.)
Wellllllll, apparently the keto diet is some kinda magical for me, and for the second time in my life I found myself pregnant after 1 month of keto. So I gleefully (but anxiously) accepted my roll as a mother of two under 2 and went on about my business. 9 months, 1 semi complicated pregnancy (gestational diabetes, which required 2 oral medications and a consistent keto diet to control), and a crazy delivery(which the dr did not make it for), I delivered a healthy, normal sized, uncomplicated vaginal delivered baby girl to the world just over 9 weeks ago.
I took a month or so to eat whatever I wanted, because strict low carb dieting was so difficult mentally while pregnant and hormonal that I thought I might lose it if I hadn't.
I've been back on keto off and on since and am now 10lb lower than my prepregnancy weight.
I've been back keto for real for 1 week, I am a nursing mom of 2 kids under 2, I work full time as a Nurse Practitioner in a rural community an hour from my home, and am gone from home 12 hours on days that I work, getting home just in time to feed the children, get them in bed, and start all over again the next day.
This is my journey through this craziness, my journey toward getting my health and weight in line despite severe time constraints and chaos. I plan on trying to check in daily, so follow along
