The city council of my community just denied the high school's request to paint a rainbow crosswalk. I wish I could say I can't believe it, but sadly I'm not surprised. It's still absolute garbage. To the LGBTQ+ people that see this:

I'm sorry a council that is supposed to represent you has failed you so completely.

You do belong here and I'm happy you're part of my community.

I support you and I will stand beside you against this closeminded nonsense.
