So… I guess I’m introducing an OC!
This is Side Character! I’m just gonna ramble here, but my reference sheets pretty much have him covered. Might as well just blurt out random info :P
He’s mostly inspired by Free Guy and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

He has black hair, pretty pale skin, wears a blue-ish gray sweater and unremarkable jeans. He has black eyes and eye-bags. Pretty normal guy.
… Except that he lives in a world filled with superheroes and supervillains that cause destruction whenever they fight. (I’ll introduce them later) It sucks for him. All he wants is to life an average, normal life without chaos every other day.
He often breaks the fourth wall often because… reasons. I mean, his name is literally Side Character, so…
He’s Agender and Aroace. (Insert triple AAA battery joke here, although he might even be aplatonic, still working in that) The “writers”/“animators” forgot to give him a sense of romance, sex life, a good name, and even a gender. (Ayyyy!) He doesn’t really have a social life either. He’s okay with any pronouns, but I use he/him for Side.
He really, really, REALLY likes vanilla shakes. He hopes that one day his superhero and supervillain filled life will one day be just as flavorless as his favorite vanilla milkshakes.
He’s really smart and observant. (“Oh… Haha! Very funny, writers! You forgot to give this character a name, social life, a sense of romance, a gender, a defined size, an actual age, defining characteristics, an unique character design, a good room, different clothes, an actual job, a family, a proper backstory and motivations, but NOOOO! Let’s give this guy a brain so he can realize how STUPID EVERYTHING IS!!”)
He mostly makes fun of stupid tropes (in my opinion) in superhero stuff.
Very, very bland, monotone guy. He wishes he could move, but the “plot” is keeping him from doing so
