Rainbowclan has grown quite a lot in the past few moons.. Im currently on Moon 74 and is 55 strong. Chickstar died and now Warmsplash is the leader.
I'm scared of Chickstar's bloodline taking over the clan... Right now around a third of the clan is either his kit or grandkit!
Oh, and we also had a murder! Jadewhisker, mother of Storm, Short and Shrew murdered Echoshade! Which is fucked up! Because Twilightdapple is the one that saved her life and brought her to the clan! Twilightdapple and Echoshade are littermates!

1. Buttons - Male, he/him - Fluffy brown and white kittypet with green eyes. Son of former clan cat, Winterbreeze and the kittypet, Pine. Buttonpaw is a very curious and imaginative kitten, taking great fascination in his mother’s previous life, and liking to pretend he is a warrior named Buttonpaw.
2. Lucky - Male, he/him - Small, fluffy gray tabby with golden eyes. Son of the exiled killer, Wolfsharp and hi co-conspirator Frosttail. For better or worse, Frosttail was killed by hounds shortly after his and his littermate Magpie’s birth, forcing Wolfsharp to give them up to another rouge queen. Although he is timid, he Magpie are both curious young cats who want to discover who their birth parents were.
3. Martenwhisker - Female, she/her - Brown tabby with green eyes. Daughter of RainbowClan’ deputy, Snowfeather and her deceased mate Mudpelt. She was the most responsible of her littermates, and felt great pressure to live up to her mother’s approval. However Martenwhisker’s serious work-oriented attitude and desire for approval from her superiors clashed with Winterbreeze and Bloodfeather’s more free spirited values. The siblings had a falling out, resulting in Winterbreeze becoming a kittypet and Bloodfeather becoming a rouge. Martenwhisker has become a cynical and bitter warrior finding difficulty in opening up or trusting anyone.
4. Geckotail - Demiboy, he/they - Tall ginger and white speckled tabby with a scarred muzzle. Son of Dyani and Bacon, Geckotail was originally from twolegplace and joined RainbowClan after getting lost in the woods. Geckotail is an extremely affectionate and caring warrior. He is very skilled at hunting and fighting, though he dislikes fighting and would rather make friends.
5. Toadstorm - Male, he/him - Short and fat brown tabby with a scarred face and ears. Former kittypet and Geckotail’s brother, son of Caroline and Chet (raised by Dyani and Caroline). He followed Geckotail to the woods, smelling blood from where he was attacked by border patrol, and believed he was murdered. After discovering the truth, Toadstorm still didn’t trust RainbowClan, thinking they were taking advantage of his brother’s good nature to trick him into working for them. However after bonding with Cloveheart, Toadstorm is eventually convinced to join RainbowClan himself. Just when Toadstorm is almost adapted to clan life, Cloveheart is killed in a battle with DarkClan and he takes over looking after their kits full time. On the night before they are to be apprenticed, Toadstorm panics and brings Gingerkit to his old twolegplace home. Basically he’s a grumpy dude w ptsd and depression.
6. Murkpaw - Agender, they/them/he - Tall, black and white shorthair with blue eyes. One of Cloveheart and Toadstorm’s four kits. They are a problem causer with an immature sense of humor. They are in denial of their mother’s death.
Toadstorm is a cranky tom who started as a kittypet, but becomes a daylight warrior after finding out his brother (Geckotail) joined SkyClan. Originally he had thought that SkyClan had killed Geckotail for trespassing but the misunderstanding was settled when Toadstorm went to their camp. Toadstorm was then convinced they were forcing Geckotail to stay in SkyClan and not letting him go home to his old housefolk. He continued to distrust SkyClan for a while but eventually settled himself as a Daylight warrior.
Toadstorm is all bark and no bite, frequently finding himself in confrontations he can’t handle. He cares about his family but gets embarrassed easily and often avoids public displays of affection. He is fairly cunning and knowledgeable but his low confidence and skill often prevent him from pursuing his ambitions.

Finally finished Rainbowclan's kit boom! 16 kits born in a short amount of time, I'm shook. Two died because of kittencough, Barleykit and Dovekit, the others are well so far, some became apprentices already and Hillpaw, the oldest of them all, is now a warrior! Hillswan! Name is fun, but Chickstar always gives weird names lol
Martenwhisker is a responsible, hardworking, cynical warrior with a wry sense of humor. She is the daughter of her Clan’s deputy and feels pressured to surpass her high expectations. As a kit, Martenwhisker was more reckless and outgoing, but after her brother injured his leg falling from a tree when they snuck out of camp, Martenwhisker became more serious and protective. Despite her intense loyalty to her siblings, they have fallen on bad terms as her brother got in a fight with her about kittypets and her sister left to become one. Martenwhisker was largely independent in her training as an apprentice because her mentor neglected their training to visit her forbidden relationship. Martenwhisker has become one of the most attentive hunters and camp guards but feels considerably distant from her fellow clanmates.
I was having trouble color matching markers to her digital ref, but she’s cute and I’m still happy with the result.
Recently, I’ve been playing around in ClanGen, and I think I’m finally comfortable enough to start making my own roleplay clan! I think this would appease my middle school Warrior Cats loving self greatly.
