Hello. Hope your days are going well. Love all ur posts. For me, u always present things and notions in a new perspective. I read ur posts and get like oh! I haven't thought about it this way.

I have something to ask. U said u did graduation in English literature. Then did u complete masters? I saw on one of ur posts that u working in journalism department. So did u apply for this job? How did u face interviews? And in which college did u study?

Right now I'm really stressed about career. If u are uncomfortable answering these questions, plz skip them. No pressure 🤗

I am in my first year of masters. I applied for the post by emailing them, after which I was asked to do an assignment, completing which I was accepted into the internship.

And I have stated several times that I'm not comfortable divulging details about my college etc so I'm not saying that.

Hi. Hope u r OK. I found out that u r from kolkata. I've a question for u. As I'm from a village in hooghly, my knowledge of kolkata streets isn't great. Although I went to college many times before, I'm yet to find a good bookstore for English books there. I'm not talking about academic bookstore. I mean.. if I wanna buy YA or contemporary books, do u know which store I can go to? Once I wanted to buy a YA book from 'booksway' , they gave me a weird look and said no. Also if u know secondhand bookstores for English books, please let me know when u have time. No pressure.🤗 My place has 2-3 good bengali bookstores and a library. But books in English language are rare here.

From my knowledge, the Starmark bookstores (in CC1, Mani Square, Quest Mall and other shopping malls) have some of the more popular books like Circe by Madeline Miller, Casey McQuiston's Red, White and Royal Blue and maybe some Cassandra Clare. But if you want better and more offbeat picks from the YA/NA category, you should look up the e-copies on libgen and z-lib.
