Hi question for you :). How do you feel about chicka as a character and how she acted in the latest episode? Do you feel her fear of hurting people is justified since their fighting in trion bodys? (Sorry if you answered this before im a new follwer)

Hi! :D Chika isn’t one of my personal favorite characters but that doesn’t make her a bad character at all. I’ve always felt that her fear of shooting people was justified, and I think it’s realistic too even if the people we’re talking about are Trion bodies. It’s the psychological part of it that matters, and there’s been nothing to really suggest to Chika yet that being in a Trion body makes a person entirely safe. (she has an interesting conversation on this topic with Yuzuru soon, but I won’t go into detail because it hasn’t come up in the anime and I don’t want to spoil anything [pleasereadthemanga]))

Her decision to shoot in the latest episode is a huge step for her, and I’m very proud that she was able to take it. Even though she missed her targets, I think she’s beginning to move in the right direction. She’s getting some serious help from Yuzuru too (again, not going into detail) and we’ve seen before that she’s able to overcome her fears and act upon her desire to protect her loved ones (when she shoots through the Rabit with Izuho’s Ibis back during the Large-Scale Invasion). So I definitely think she’ll start making some serious progress soon (not to mention the new stuff Yuzuru introduces to her will probably really help her).
