As a Hispanic furry part of me always dislikes how latinos are represented in furry visual novels, especially when people write latinos as people that talk like "Hey amigo! how are you doing? that's increíble!"

I think Leo from Echo Project, Carlos from Santa Lucia and Javier from Rain Check are the most accurate representations of Hispanic characters

Even tho Leo sometimes might mix both languages while he speaks, that's actually part of his character, he struggles with English, that's one of the reasons why he always felt like an outsider in his group of friends, and it's not just played as a joke.

Carlos is probably the one that hit the closest to home, he was outed by his brother and living in a Christian family he was quickly kicked out of the house, now all by himself he doesn't know if he should live by the values he was taught as a kid or be his own person.

And while we don't know much of Javier just yet it's interesting how his character is based on someone who managed to leave his home country, never looked behind, don't plan on ever returning and managed to adapt, while keeping his old culture.

I love these 3 idiots for better or worse ❤️

While I was rereading Richard's route for my post, I found one of my new reaction screenshots

While Javier shows signs of being on the spectrum, and Theodore clearly struggles with anxiety and depression... Rou shows signs of being *check notes* hypersexual?

This of course isn't confirmed, but it's fun to think, because there are several scenes that support this.

During Javier's introduction, his first impression about Theodore, is that he's another one of Rou's hook-ups, as he apparently has a tendency of hooking up with guys during investigations.

Then of course we have the sex scene. Nothing too intense happens on it, but you have to keep in mind, by this point, Rou and Theodore know each other for less than 48 hours. (Or even less than 24, I would need to reread the scene to confirm)

And then we have the scene where they are at Javier's place. This one is a bit funny, for some reason Rou is just casually playing with his junk while Theodore is right there.

Like, he's doing this consciously, he wasn't sleeping

We don't have much else, since Rou gets quickly written off during Javier's route, so we'll have to wait until Rou's route to see if we get some confirmation, or we can add more scenes to the list.

You play as Theodore, the luckiest tiger you ever met that also happens to be the unluckiest tiger you ever met, I don't wanna spoil too much because I don't want to ruin the experience but believe me. This VN is worth it
