Here’s the finished version of that Rainfire ref. I debated shading it or not but decided to leave the colors flat since it’s a ref.

It's my girl Rainfire, OG design (the ginger) and most current design (the colorpoint)

Wish I had my markers or color pencils so I could at least color this, but I guess I'll just have to do that later.

Anyways, this is a ref sheet for my good girl, Rainfire, the scenic style of which is slightly inspired by @tennelleflowers

Rainfire is one of the main four from 'Edge of the Storm', and the very first PoV character of the series. Of the main four, she is unarguably the most optimistic and sweetest of the lot, important qualities for the particular battles she faces through the series.

1. Swampclan's Shadowtail has been sweet on Waterfallclan's Rainfire since they first met at a gathering as apprentices. He doesn't meet so many unapologetically kind and friendly cats, and she was one of the few cats to actually be nice to him. When he was finally driven from his own clan, due to being done with carrying out his father's horrendous deeds, Rainfire encouraged him to seek refuge in Waterfallclan and stood up for him against her wary clanmates. At some point after the series, they have kittens together and live out their lives happy and content in each other'scompany.

2. Rainkit with her littermare Foxkit, who has been a grumpy brother even from kittenhood

3. Just like the other three mains of the series, Rainkit was visited by a Starclan warrior just before being made an apprentice, alerting her of her destiny. Rainkit's first interaction with the deceased Koipelt was filled with fear and reverence, as the kitten had never seen a Starclan cat before, but over time, as Koipelt continues to give Rainfire guidance and comfort, the two she-cats come to be very good friends and trusting allies.

4. Nothing to this, she's just adorable
