5. Do you ever put your ocs into alternative universes/settings? If you do, tell us about one of them!
For my boy Baxter, I entertained an AU I called "Bad End Baxter" where rather than being disowned by his shitty rich family and fixing his heart, he chooses to stay with them and conform to their shitty rich ways. This results in him, most notably, never becoming his brother's guardian and living to present-day as an awful old man (canonically, he dies in the 80s at around 42 years old). This version of him is also heavily closeted and thinks he's better for it (he is not)
14. Have any of your ocs been re-written? If so, what did their old version look like vs their new one?
Super obscure lore unlocked. Akihiko, design wise and a little in personality, poaches quite a bit from a short-lived OC named Mitrag who was the twin brother of Geeta from ScarVio. Comet Rider originally was conceptualized as an in-universe Rider series that Mitrag was a fan of, but I got more invested in its lore than I was in him, and his personality was drastically changing in ways that made more sense for Akihiko than for him. Sorry guy but thanks for helping me get to Aki!
15. [FREE SPACE] - Introduce us to one of your ocs!
These two are a package deal. For your consideration: August and Rainier, the protagonists of an rpgmaker horror game I'm working on on-and-off (Rainier has the long hair, August has the short)
They're toxic best friends at a boarding school for delinquent boys and the summer before they graduate, the school is set upon by a crazy supernatural event and monsters (but the REAL monster is internalized homophobia) so they're trapped together and forced to contend with their fucked up relationship. You may recognize August from the piece below which was my last PFP! He has a tiger motif, the project is called The Lamb Make Thee after a line from The Tyger
