Such an AWESOME song & video! Despite how sad I get when I think about River Phoenix and how I wish he was still with us all today - I find solace in knowing that he is with God in Heaven (which is where all Angels deserve to be). If only he were alive today - I can only speculate & fantasize, but I bet he would have been a really good father & husband to his own family. That man went through a lot (and experienced a lot of severe struggle which caused a great deal of trauma apparently), and he still wanted to put good into the world and heal this place (despite his personal demons). I really wish I could have met him because I admire his work and his efforts a great deal. This song is merely a snapshot of the ripple effect of the pebble he threw in the pond (if that makes sense).
I know his spirit still lives on despite his physical absence. God bless him.
...By the way - It TOTALLY blows my mind that The Phoenix family had lived in FLORIDA (which is totally my stompin’ ground). I’m like DUDE WHERE WAS I?! Oh wait I was overseas living in Okinawa, Japan...of course..other side of the world..why not... Hahaha. Literally The Bottom family changed their name to The Phoenix family while fleeing to Florida. I’m like DUDE! ...They know...They know about the humidity...The sweat..the constant sweat (HaHaaha). Kinda random but not to me so yeah - Good times.
