Does anyone find comfort in dark rainy days or dark rainy roads in cars, or dark snowy forest nights, or dark rainy cities? No? Just me?

ROAD
Autumn Aura
I was driving back from class today and came upon a new-found...aura(?) that I really like. The streets have been splashed with rain water and the sky is dark: the red taillights and diamond headlights reflect off of the road and expand the value of space. The reflections of the individual lights together creates this nice feeling of unity and calm and motion...blagh, I suck at trying to describe this type of stuff. I just like it.
Spain - Day 28, Rainey Roads to Tarifa
[out Surely's windshield as we plod through the driving rain] Kilometers Driven: 151 Our long streak of good weather has come to an end, and while in El Chorro it wasn't particularly disrupting, on the road to Tarifa it was somewhat deflating. We made a beeline from Ronda towards the beaches lining the Straights of Gibralter, only stopping at one point to raid a bookstore and series of clothes outlets that yielded a decent pull of jeans for me--a continually needed addition to my wardrobe--and the first book of the Hunger Games, which I will now attempt to devour overnight. However, despite the rain and the encroaching dark, the beaches lining the north coast above Tarifa have proven an impressive and beautiful site. We're excited, rain or shine to be back on the beach, and my first priority tomorrow is to jump into the Atlantic, an ocean I haven't seen now for two whole years. And with any lucky, there will be some surfing involved. :-) To be continued... Special Events: Showered in the rain Let the Hunger Games begin! First sighting of the Atlantic in 2 years Parking spot approximately 1.5 meters from the white sand of an incredible beach
