Help us make an LGBT+ representing film about time-travel!
Hello!
As you may or may not know, I’m a 17 year old Art, English, and Drama student from the UK. Myself and a group of other students are planning on creating our first short film as we’re all interested in filmmaking and we really want to create something together!
The film is called “Current” and centres around Quinn, a 19 year old girl who has recently broken up with her girlfriend Lily.
Quinn discovers a camera that takes her back in time with every click of the shutter and decides to use it to salvage the relationship she once had, but not everything goes to plan.
This is a film about gay youth in which the focus isn’t based around coming out or oppression (while these are important issues, as a bisexual girl I’ve always wanted to see more LGBT+ representation that doesn’t focus solely on being LGBT+!), but is instead on time-travel, youth, and teenage relationships!
We would all be really grateful for any pledges to our Kickstarter page so we can get the finance we need for locations, equipment, costumes, and more. Not to mention there’s lots of rewards for pledgers! And you’ll get to see our short film!
