That day we met

Emma: It was one of those rainy days where the whole world seemed to slow down. Jake: Yeah, and I was stuck at the bus stop, soaked to the bone. Emma: I remember seeing you there, looking all disheveled. I offered you my umbrella. Jake: I was so grateful. We stood there under that tiny umbrella, sheltered from the rain, but somehow everything felt brighter. Emma: We started chatting about everything and nothing, as if the rain had washed away all the awkwardness. Jake: It was like time stopped. I forgot about being late for work; all that mattered was our conversation. Emma: And then, out of nowhere, a gust of wind turned our umbrella inside out. Jake: We laughed so hard. It felt like a scene from a cheesy romantic movie. Emma: But you know what they say, laughter brings people together. Jake: And it did. I didn't want that moment to end. Emma: So, we decided to make a run for the nearest coffee shop to escape the rain. Jake: Little did we know, that coffee shop would become our spot. Emma: We sat there for hours, talking and sharing stories like we'd known each other forever. Jake: It was like the rain had orchestrated the perfect meet-cute. Emma: I couldn't agree more. That rainy day turned out to be the beginning of our love story. Jake: Who would've thought an umbrella malfunction would lead to something so beautiful? Emma: Sometimes, it's the unexpected moments that become the most memorable ones.

1: What did you do in 2013 that you’d never done before?

uuuhmm i started going to a new youth group, i made a lot of new friends, i guess i kind of came out of my shell i little bit (??)

6: What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013

be healthier tbh. not even lose weight really just be healthy in general.

7: What dates from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

none really but probably christmas day because of doctor who

8: What was your biggest achievement of the year?

probably just being more comfortable at school honestly. it’s my second year at the school i’m at now and it’s been a lot easier this year.

15: What did you get really, really, really excited about?

all the new seasons of the shows i like (SEASON 3 SEASON 3 SEASON 3 SEASON 3 EVEN THOUGH THAT’S TECHNICALLY 2014 WHOOPS), getting moved into a new house, going on vacation. AND ED’S NEW CD EVEN THOUGH IT DOESN’T COME OUT TILL 2014 IDC I’VE BEEN PUMPED ALL FUCKIN YEAR

18: What do you wish you’d done more of?

i wish i’d just got out of the house more and talked to my friends more.

22: What was your favourite TV program?

oh SHIT THIS ONE IS HARD okay probably supernatural just because there for about 3 months i watched it almost every single day (i only finished season 8 a few days before season 9 came out)

24: What was the best book you read?

i would say either the hobbit or insurgent probably (i would say tfios but i think that might have been last year?? idk)

25: What was your greatest musical discovery?

fall out boy

28: What was your favourite film of this year?

hmmm probably ironman 3

35: Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2013.

honestly i don’t think that there’s been a certain thing (although there might be and i just can’t remember it). i would say that i’ve learned a little about a lot of things and it’s all made existing a lot easier if that makes sense?? i just feel like i’ve gained a lot of life experience and i think that’s very valuable.
