favorite animal? favorite child?

Hestia’s favorite animal is a beaver! There is a family of a beavers that she can see through the electric fence at the edges of Victor Village. She admires their persistence. In her last near-two decades as a Victor, she’s seen them overcome blizzards, floods, droughts, everything imaginable. When the storm passes, they’re always back out in the water. Building back up their safe little home with neither remorse nor apology. She does not have a favorite child u walnut

Lilybelle?

lilybelle is an odd one and ariadne can’t help but wonder what she did to deserve a whole zero during training. she doesn’t understand the girl’s deal and, at this point, she doesn’t even want to ask about it. to her, it’s clear that district five is extraordinarily weird this game cycle.

Addy?🥺

Addy makes him feel loved in a way he hasn’t felt since his parent’s passed. Addy is the unconditional love of a family member he’s been missing, he’d do anything for her. She never fails to make him feel safe, calmed, cared for, even in his darkest moments. He truly feels he owes Addy his life for all of the unquestionable love she showed him, even in his darkest weeks after the arena.

Affection isn't something that Olive knows how to express on any conventional terms. Her and Addy certainly didn't get off to an easy start. Addy was too quick to reach forward with touch, too open with her emotions. Her immediate response to that is to drag into a tighter ball. Time builds strength though. They remain two very different women but she would step in front of a bullet for the other.

Antigone is so delighted to have a friend, and she wishes that Bells would believe her philosophy. Anti herself feels so at peace having made the choice and being on her way to paradise, and she knows that there are earthly things that trouble Bells that would be helped by a belief in the power of the Games to deliver her somewhere better. She knows what it’s like to have a sibling that you need to protect, and she wishes that Bells could find the peace that she has.

Satch loves Addy. She is kind and loving and wholesome and wants the best for him, something that he’s not experienced very much in his life. She invited him in and made him feel welcome when he felt like his world was falling apart, and now that it may be on the brink of crumbling once again, he wants to come to her and have her hold him while he cries. But she has a lot on her plate, and her own circumstances are far worse than his, and so he feels he shouldn’t burden her with his problems.
