I’m thinking of making an Elder Scrolls skill proficiency profile for Mystic, using skills from the Oblivion game and assigning Mystic a proficiency in each of them, with explanations as to why I chose each one. Would that be ok with you?

The Little Things

🎨 - What’s their favorite color?

“I like colors that catch the eye, but that are smooth and warm, somehow. Pastel-ish textures, I guess. A cadet gray, crimson red, royal gold… I don’t exactly have a favorite one.”

🐶 - What’s their favorite animal?

“Huff, another difficult one. Can I just say my Familiars? They take the shape of wild wolves and owls, so it counts, right? Those two creatures are absolutely gorgeous and magnificent on their own.”

✏️ - Talk about their handwriting.

“My handwriting isn’t all that bad, really. Kazuha even told me she thought it’d be messier. Well, at least, I think it was a compliment? I was taught how to write by professionals, after all. Of course, it’s gonna be legible! It’d say it’s rather print-like. Sorta like…” He takes out his phone and begins fumbling around with it, “sorta like the font Charter-Roman. One of my caretakers told me that one time and, damn sure, it does look similar.”

I absolutely LOVE your Obey Me Love Languages post! :D Someone I follow reblogged it from your blog. Idk how old this post is though. I loved Satan’s, Asmo’s, and Belphie’s ones the most. Your writing is so immersive, and I really appreciate the fact that it was in second-person. I felt so connected to the characters, and Satan’s and Asmo’s ones especially made me squeal out of happiness ^^ They seem really in character from what I know of them (I’ve skimmed through the non-story-spoiler Obey Me wiki sections). It surprised me that I saw ‘quality time’ more often than I thought I would throughout this post. Thank you so much for sharing this! :) I want to play Obey Me but I’m kinda worried that I’ll have to spend money to easily progress in the game. I hope you are doing well. 💜

I am so happy you love the love languages post I wrote.. holy shit, it was about a year ago now! Honestly, it was something that had been in my head for a while because I noticed that just because we tend to show our love one way doesn’t mean we’d necessarily like to receive it that way as well (or that we’d readily accept it). And honestly, those demons are so starved of genuine emotional connections at times that voluntary bonding sessions with MC are all the more meaningful because it’s out of choice and not obligation, you know? But yeah… I really did go a little overboard with the quality time. 🤷‍♀️😂 (Side note: I have a WIP of the side boys and quality time is only mentioned twice so I apparently managed to rein it in there.)

And I definitely recommend playing the game so long as you’re patient with yourself and the grind process! There will definitely be moments where you’re stuck at a certain lesson and it’ll annoy the hell out of you, but there is so much content available to enjoy without a membership and several ways to level up without spending your money. This site offers some nice walkthroughs and tips that will help get you through lessons and raise your intimacy stats with the love interests. Hopefully this will help if you do decide to play!

And finally, because it’s midnight where I’m at and my tired brain won’t stop monologuing (she’s annoying and I have to be up in the morning), I just want to say thank you so much for your kind words. I love to write and create, and you have no idea how much it means to me when I get messages like this or read the tags people add. It makes me all happy, warm and validated, and I love it and love you all. I hope you’re doing amazing and just know that I appreciate you!

Hi. I noticed this ask, and I wanted to respond. Based on your blog, I think you are most similar to Kou. (I don’t know the events of the games, so I’m basing this off of stuff I’ve learned through the CDs I’ve listened to and their translations I’ve read. I’m planning to read translations of the games at some point. 😅) Your blog posts are really colorful and aesthetically-pleasing, which reminds me of Kou’s idol persona, he probably puts on flashy, colorful shows for his fans. I really like your hypnosis mic posts, I’ve been meaning to get into that media. 🙂 Your blog also reminds me of the darker side of Kou as well, through the vent art posts and some of the text posts, and the difficulties he dealt with when he was younger. Hello! I honestly became convinced that anyone who followed me for DL became inactive or moved on, so really this is a really pleasant surprise! I'm only sorry I couldn't respond quickly as I'm caught by the throat with work during the majority of the week. I'm very tired with exhaustion because of it, but am very happy it's the weekend so I can relax a bit and play/draw a little!

To be honest, I'm really quite shocked to be thought of as similar to Kou of all characters, maybe it's due to the fact that I don't usually pick his route or listen to drama CDs that feature him (or really much of any family that isn't the Tsukinami) and therefore don't really know much of him as a whole. I don't have the liberty to listen to the CD side of DL and the only games I've played have been Dark Fate and onwards, but it has been quite a while since I've continued them and only really remember Carla and Shin's route with maybe a couple of the Sakamaki's~ So your judgement is better than mine at this point with the CD translations!

I certainly didn't expect him if just for the fact that I don't really view myself as quite as cheerful despite what I post and reblog so I'm very fascinated with this response! In the beginning I know I didn't like him at all but of course that was way back when the anime was released, I'm pretty sure playing the games obviously changed my view on just about all the characters, but unfortunately I can't remember much of the experiences with the Mukami and Sakamaki family ;;w;;

My uncle. I have a ton of respect for him as the king but he needs to chill the fuck down.

There’s also heights. I won’t panic if I’m stand at like—I don’t know—let’s say than 40 feet up, maybe. Anything beyond that, god help me. Some demons sure have hella fun teasing me about it…

I’m not really into any specific genre. I’ll listen to anything, really. One day I’ll be vibing to some nice swing jazz and the next crying on the floor with Sam Smith.

+ Question: What personality is your character most likely to befriend?

Mystic is most likely to befriend any extroverted individual that approaches him with friendly intentions. Be them as chaotic as he or not, he will certainly be willing to exchange phone numbers or social media accounts to keep in further contact.

Also, he’s the type to pick up introverts and bring them under his wing. Someone at a party not quite blending in and with a face of “please get me out of here”? He’ll walk up to them and chat them up with a smile. If you’re an introvert yourself, I’m sure you’ve seen or experienced an extrovert bringing you into their group. Mystic takes the role of extrovert in this situation.

Admittedly, I’m mediocre at video games at best. I was never that much of a fan, so I don’t play often. Therefore, my abilities aren’t that great.

🍀 — luck

My luck in general? Well, it’s good. I’m aware of the amount of trouble I make on a daily basis, but hey—it doesn’t count if you don’t get caught. I’m not lucky enough to go unnoticed, though, and the punishment comes from my uncle. Kazuha covers for me sometimes, but there’s always a price to pay for a favor when it comes from her…

My missions are mostly dependent on my abilities, really. Luck is just another plus factor to help me complete it. And it’s present. Most of the time, at least. You know, the target’s by themselves, at home without underlings, guards, or other obstacles—the works. Fu, those are normally the best ones. Depends whether or not they’re being a stubborn asshole, of course.

Hi again. I just read (and reblogged) your fanfiction introducing the entity that has a grip on Simone. It is so good! The writing was very descriptive and I could clearly picture in my mind what was happening. This fanfiction piece reminds me of the Elder Scrolls series, specifically Skyrim, and the quest called “The Whispering Door”. It’s very similar (in my opinion) to this writing piece. I am even more excited to read more stuff about this part of Simone’s character. No pressure though. You did an amazing job with that introduction. 🙂👍🏻💜

oh my godddd i used to be the biggest fan of skyrim when i was younger. of course i remember the whispering door. but i’m so glad you like it! i know it’s not much, but i plan to release more pieces of info as i go. i feel like i wouldn’t do this story much justice if i dump it all in one post. thank you as always for your support! it’s so so reassuring, and i hope you continue to interact with me and my blog!
