“I mean, yeah, you kind of did.” It was really difficult to pretend that he wasn’t disappointed in what the other had done especially when it was written all over his face. Plus, he was pretty bad at pulling his punches nowadays, since he’d been pulled out of his own mind. He wasn’t quite settled back into Warren Worthington just yet.

Still, he shouldn’t get disappointed with people or hold grudges when the other did recognise what he’d done.

“Alexander.” She stood in the doorway while his class filed out. She supposed now was the right time to be dramatic. “I see you’ve decided to settle down in an odd way. Is teaching a retirement or a promotion for you?”

         Court takes a moment to stare at him, briefly opening her mouth before thinking better of it and closing her lips firmly. Her mind is still racing, to say the least, because she just... DOESN’T understand what he’d just said. Glancing down to her hands, she tries to formulate her thoughts.

“Okay, wait -- so... this guy -- Nate -- is your nephew from the future, who came back in time to.... save the world? And Rachel is your niece from the future, but a different future from different incarnations of your brother and sister-in-law -- ex-sister-in-law? -- who... I’m actually a little bit foggy on that still. Am I -- is this right so far?” As she speaks she motions vaguely in the air, confusion evident on her features.

           Usually she was good with names and faces and histories, but this was just something else entirely. “Could you just give me the run down once more? Actually, I feel like I need to take notes.”

"I'm sure." Alex mutters, an amused smile passing his lips. "Do you want me to--?" He lets the question hang, taking a step toward the archer. As grim as it was, he'd become pretty great at tying ties from all the funerals he's attended.

       Clint raised his eyebrow as the other man moves closer. The question was left open and Clint caught on quickly to what he was imply. Shoulders shrug as he looks to him, “Sure, go ahead cause I clearly can’t keep my ties straight.”
