i think i know why i like fury (besides the surface level containing my love for women who want to kill me),
my favorite line of hers:

i have a particular fondness for characters that view the body less as an extension of the self, more as a vessel. i really like fury's point of view on it ...
ship of theseus but with muscles and sinew in place of wood and tacks. when your body fails you, will you still be you? when you'll have to give your body up for something greater, will you still be there?
it reminds me of....... void archives. an eternal detachment from the body, the presentation of the person being no more than a construct for the mind within.
im still learning about fury, as i haven't gotten all of her endings yet, but her self-hatred beneath the pedestal she so desperately thought to be meant for her really stuck out to me. she has a grandiose facade that is harder to deconstruct than it might seem...
the desire/purpose paradox of each vessel stands out a lot in fury. each of the vessels believe that they exist for a purpose they cannot defy, oftentimes unaware of this conviction. this is best demonstrated in the fact that they have no names; naught but a title. (again. void archives...) the damsel, who when questioned about her desires, repeats on and on: I Just Want To Make You Happy! as she deconstructs. because you're all she's ever known.
this is seen in the tower & the adversary, too, fury's progenitors, let's say. the tower believes that any path that doesn't lead to her utmost reverence and ascension is not only redundant but Wrong. why would she stray from the road to dominion when she's supposed to be there? why would the adversary care about anything other than violence when it's what she knows best?
... dominance & violence & vengeance. does fury's urge to commit to them stem from her desires, or does it stem from her purpose? does it matter whether she wills it or follows it, if it's all she's ever known?

moserling musings ... live action shows need to take advantage of Character Design more. TLDR: Brian is less Physically imposing than dexter is while also being able to mimic Being Normal a thousand times better than dexter, so no one ever thinks to suspect him, while dexter sets off every single Geiger counter in the vicinity because his best attempts at masking come off as What the Fuck is This Guy Doing (sinister)

fury saying Beh is really funny to me. played some parts of her chapter in Italian to see if the translation/localization takes liberties with anything, but 99.9% of the time it's quite 1:1. that 00.1% percent though,
"you left me" becomes "you abandoned me". which has essentially the same exact meaning, (otherwise it'd be something like "mi hai lasciato/mi hai lasciata da sola" which doesn't really imply what "you left me" means in this context in my opinion) but the use of Abandoned really struck me...
her eyes are "deep wells of buried sorrow" in English - while in Italian it's explicitly said that they're bursting with tears
"to sever the tendons of my ascension" becomes "to rip the wings of my ascension"
"matter devoid of life" becomes "inert matter". which keeps the same meaning while adding its own pizzazz since inert matter has a meaning of its own in context. it is not solely devoid of life - it cannot move, it cannot transform, it cannot degrade, ect.
"a void without substance" instead of "an empty void" once again the same meaning without making the translation too literal. i enjoy it, because it's really easy to make an Italian translation feel mechanical / lesser than the original due to the way Italian works and reads as a language, but the stp translation (from what ive seen so far) doesn't suffer much of this
