The mcyt multiverse explained.
This is a little tutorial to explain the ways our favorite smps are connected. This is just the more surface level stuff, more then this definitely exists.
Let us begin from Vampires smp, let us put it in the center.
The tombs of Truffle and Louis appear in Bannerfall while the town of Oakhurst is mentioned in the haunted winter series which is itself part of the Legundo 100 days cinematic universe.
Bannerfall's tombstones include references to Rat SMP as well and Bannerfall Owain has made references to Pirates. Those two smps themselves have referenced eachother often so either way they must be connected. There is also an implied connection between Vampires and Cowboy SMP but it's only implied so It's connected by a light gray line instead.
Vampires Smp is also linked to Kingdoms trough Avid's lore as the same Limbo dimension appears in both series. Pirates Smp however gives the biggest connection as Pirate Scar's hat appears in Hermitcraft and is linked to Scar world traveling lore.
Skyblock kingdom is a prequel to Avid's adventures and Abolish lore appears in vampires, I know little about either so I won't elaborate ...
What I do know is that Esmp1 Lizzie appears as an ad in Hermitcraft and that Empires 2 and Hermitcraft had a crossover event. In addition to this Gem's celestial shapeshifting god lore says that her Life Series self, her Hermitcraft self and her Empires s2 self are one in the same. (Not Empires 1 however which is interesting)
Empires 1 and 2 are also connected as they happen in the same world just 1000 years apart.
Outsiders smp is also important and heavily connected to all others pow smps however It's hard to really describe how as someone who only watched it partially so I just put it near the other pows smps.
Empires SMP also opens up some connections, mainly Afterlife smp (which has connections to Empires 1, mainly trough Saint Pearl) and Witchcraft smp which is a sequel to Empires two. (Witchcraft Shelby is canonically Esmp2 Shelby as shown by the finale)
Now, Empires is also connected to another smp. Misadventures. In Misadventures the emperors are found buried in the catacombs.
As for the life series...connecting one means connecting all of them and of course connecting Evo. A series so interconnected with the life series it might as well be the life series season 0. (The Secret keeper the wild Life spawn the watcher lore and so on)
Now a quick round. In season 6 of Hermitcraft Doc traveled trough a portal to mind crack, In Empires 1 and many of Joel other works Jeremyism (The X life cult) is referenced and In Third Life Rendog stated that his crown was the one he won in mcc...so
Now MCC is a doozy. For one it connects to Captain Sparklez multiverse lore which basically connects together everything he has appeared in including Mianite, Minecraft Story Mode and Fallen kingdom.
For two it connects the dream smp which is another doozy.
And FINALLY the Dream Smp connects to Lifesteal (Mentioned and referenced really often which is mostly because like 30% of the lifesteal members were dsmp fans), Origins Smp (Do I really need to explain?), The Qsmp and PhilZa's Hardcore (Share same lore and some gods including Kristin and Rose).
And if you really want to add you could argue Herobrine is a villain in both the Haunted Winter and Fallen kingdom story which could connect opposite sides of this tree but I personally wouldn't as Herobrine would open thousands of more connections.
Also maybe you could connect Evo with Yandere High School but I couldn't find any canon connection.
him again lol
its been 13 years. welcome back etho's bottomless pit prank
Etho pyromaniac
Transcript
[Docm77] You like fireworks too? Like in the- like when you see firecrackers and stuff?
[Etho] Yeahh I've... I've got some experience uh even making my own *laughs*
[Docm77] *laughs* Uh oh. Kids don't try at home
[Etho] *meekly* I like fire a lot
So there I was, sitting there, doing schoolwork, watching a Scar vod. Not even paying attention, just vibing.
And then I hear it.
“Ya ever heard of miiiinecraaaft?”
When I tell you I flinched like a sleeper agent and suddenly, there I was, like… 4 years old, watching OOGE play Vinyl Fantasy.
For reference, take the original clip.

Loads to unpack here. Baby Etho… I cant remember him sounding like this T-T Its like my brain autocorrects early etho memories lol. Guude’s laugh is more than everything, miss that dude. Bdubs having fantasies of Etho in cowboy boots is un-unpackable. And the line itself is of course STUPENDOUS and arguably the most legendary mindcrack line of all time (it itself isnt from Minecraft, but from Vinyl Fantasy II).
Etho the whole time nervously laughing in befuddlement, to the point where Bdubs actually APOLOGIZES for taking it too far which i find to be one of the sweetest moments ever. AND ALL ETHO SAID WAS IT DOESNT BOTHER ME AHHHHH

That “I’m sorry etho” was just SOOOO PATHETIC AND APOLOGETIC RHAHAHHAH IT DOESNT BOTHER ME WHAT A FREAK i just love them they’re so soft they’re soooo soft.
ThirTEEN years later, and Etho still remembers it and it still makes him laugh? As we all know, Etho is FAMOUS for never forgetting an inside joke. Ever. And this is more proof, and I find this to be one of the sweetest things ever. He still remembers not just the dumb joke his friend made 13 years ago, but he remembers the exact tone of voice his friend used to make a dumb joke 13 years ago. And it STILL makes him laugh. Big fan of him quoting bdubs quoting him. Not even to MENTION that thats his default reaction to seeing a hot lady im sent lmfao. Every time he sees a woman in public i bet his mind goes to 13 years ago Bdubs saying that lmfao
On a more biased agenda… echolalia Etho. Oh my GOD echolalia Etho. ETHO IS ECHOLALIAING!! AHHHHHHHHH ITS A VOCAL STIM FOR HIM!!!!
my memory of most of what I watched of mindcrack is really fuzzy despite how much it engrossed me but whenever I see a screenshot and the chat is open, I'm thrown back to the memory of the hours I spent on their website, where they had a feature to view the server's chat messages in (near) real time. this was before livestreaming in general was common practice so it was a real insight into the general running of the server. it was sort of the minecraft equivalent of the big brother live feeds, for its time.
It's also why you'll sometimes see a "P" before seemingly random messages from that time - this allowed the message to be hidden from the site and therefore the audience, and (as far as we get shown) was generally used for hiding spoilers for unreleased videos and some admin stuff. It wasn't used by everyone and certainly not in any uniform way by those who did - it was largely a moment to moment decision by individual members what they thought would be worth hiding. Conversations between two people would sometimes have only one side hidden on the site via this function, which felt like a mysterious puzzle at the time rather than a slight faux pas of someone not picking up the slack of responding with "P" in kind.
in retrospect, it also makes me consider the relationship server members probably had to the audience and the awareness that their chat messages could be broadcast; P obviously allowed them a degree of privacy and if they wanted to, every message they typed could have been made private this way as iirc there were no rules against this practice, but it's still an active choice they had to make. the default was that your message could and would be seen by anyone who cared enough to watch the server chat scroll by.
