I want the K!
16: Upside-Down Kiss
It was a difficult task to get close to the detective, especially when it came to physical contact. Yet somehow, the luckster had achieved it — The detective’s head in his lap as she read quietly. He appeared to be concentrated on the game playing on his PS Vita, but not entirely… His gaze drifting to the detective’s porcelain features whenever he was given the chance of subtlety.
"… Is something wrong?"
"N-No! It’s… Nothing."
Her eyes narrowed at his response, returning her gaze to her book. Her gaze was the one who diverting to him now, who’s attention seemed to be upon her now instead of his game. They held that gaze for a moment, two, before she finally let go of her book. He seemed to turn away now, his cheeks tinging pink as he did so. But she didn’t allow him to just get away with that.
Slowly, she reached a gloved hand up to gently caress his cheek, making him face her once more. Then, with a pinch of pink of her features, she gently pulled his face down towards her. Their lips met briefly, gliding against each other for just a moment before she let him go, allowing her hand to fall back on her stomach.
"… Don’t ask."
