Crafting the Cosmos

out of the blue started working on an old painting of my dragonsona, Rakshiv, last night. i just felt!!! INSPIRED!!!! and suddenly it was 1 am and i was VERY TIRED
trying to draw for myself again. a redraw of an older painting of my oldest sona, Rakshiv, a space dragon thats not quite a dragon
For the OC game: Rakshiv
rakshiv is the kind of problematic that forgets tiny black holes in the most inconspicuous places and leaves you wondering why you have less socks than you remember having a few weeks ago
BEEP
i love it when stupid sketches turn into even stupider paintings looool
Well I fold. I just found Rakshiv's themesong.
Fire Magic
“Magic,” she repeated with a sort of half smile, her head cocked ever so slightly to the side. She chuckled good naturedly, as though the word ‘magic’ was something she had not heard for many thousands of years. She closed her eyes, letting the ball of flame go out, and shook her great head.
“No, it’s not magic,” she said after a moment. “Though, I’m sure it must seem as much… To you.”
With a particular gleam in her eye she did it again, this time swiping her claw through the air in such a fashion that to Caedryn it seemed as though she was pulling fire from the fabric of reality itself. He stared at the writhing ball of flame in the palm of her hand, intrigued.
Rakshiv Snippet
Without a care she frolicked through the undergrowth, smiling wide at the alien scenery around her. Caedryn eyed her warily, unused to the company of such an… energetic being. And in the greens and the blues of the jungle, the bright flash of her red and orange scales always caught him off guard.
“You sure seem… happy,” he said quietly. Her response was both simple and unexpected. She bounded out of the trees and scooped him up into as big a hug as she could, laughing loudly.
“Your planet is so beautiful!” she yelled, startling a flock of birds from a nearby tree. And quick as a flash she let him go and bounded away again, her long feathery tassels gliding quietly from sight. Despite her size she managed her joyous romp in near silence, her presence betrayed only by the quiet shudder of surprised foliage. Caedryn allowed himself a small smile and shook his head, amused by her antics. Her current demeanour was worlds away from the quiet sorrow he had seen when he first met her, and even though he knew she was not a spirit it bolstered his mood to see her happy.
