Small Backyard Wedding | Raleigh, NC

Ben and Adam were married in a small backyard wedding last fall. I’ve been so busy I’m only just now getting around to posting these 🙈, but better late than never!

It was a beautiful setting, with a lot of trees, and warm golden lighting. Since it was later in the evening we were hoping to beat the sunset and have enough light to capture everything without using flash.

It was a very small gathering with only 7 guests attending in person, but they also set up a zoom meeting so their friends and family from out of town were able to join in on the festivities.

I love a good fire pit!

Earlier when I said they should just act natural they joked “Well we’d probably both be on our phones then”. This exchange later proved it.

The ceremony began.

Some of the zoom guests were celebrating at a bar. At one point they were interrupted by noisy bar patrons. It was unexpected, but is definitely an aspect of the day they will remember!
