7. Teddy and Henry

Teddy (Kim Raver) was never a character we imagined having one of the most interesting and compelling love stories of Season 8. And we certainly never thought we'd see her on this list. But holy cow, were we blindsided by the agony and ecstasy of her "marriage" to Henry. The two of them charmed the hell out of us — so we were hoping and, frankly, expecting Henry to make a full recovery under the auspices of the Seattle Grace docs. We were wrong, and it nearly wrecked us.
