The way Greg shivered when he was talking to Rose D,,: HES so CUTE and RELATABLE
Gosh. The SU soundtrack - especially Rose’s themes - really make me want to cry every time. It’s so well composed and instrumented, and original in its texture, and inventive/complex in its chords. Not to mention all the voice actors sing, without autotune or any of that crap so many shows are guilty of. SU is doing it right. It makes me so, so happy.
Storytime.
So, I'm the young blood of my evening Muay Thai (MMA) class, and as such tend to embarrass myself and get tired quickly. But I wouldn't go at all if I didn't A) want to be stronger B) love willingly getting my ass kicked by cute guys. Today I got paired with this stranger - shorter than me, college student, freckles and moderately short chestnut hair. His name is Jack. First thing I noticed, after adjusting (awkwardly) to his height, was his high kicks are really fast. I told him so. He got sorta flustered and was like, 'well, I been doing this for a big time- I mean, a long... while-- like, a year' and it was really funny and adorable! If you don't know the feeling of getting punched and kicked (thru a training pad) and being all close and personal, with this feeling of mutual trust in the person, and the release of pent-up anger through physical training, and getting frustrated when you make a lame move and all excited when you land it just right... And when they stare straight into your eyes, you feel intimidated and vaguely flattered? You should try it sometime. Also, normally fighters exhale with every move and make this sort of hissing noise,as a way to relax and keep breathing? But when Jack got really into the routine he would, like, also make this little growling noise with every throw?! I think it was involuntary. And very cute. Nobody else in the class does that. Moral of the story. I've really got a thing for boys trained in fighting.
