thinking thoughts about fragile forever but i know she loves higgs because he's, in some way, her mother's legacy but she also hates him for it. he was supposed to be all she had left, her friend and family and confidant but he betrayed her. he hurt her in ways he'll never understand. and sometimes, she wonders if he knows he's spitting in coffin's face. not that it matters anymore. he's hardly human, hardly the boy he was.

fragile has a strange relationship with everything. the living, the dead, nature, higgs, sam, the girls, the tar, the beach. she abhors as she loves. it is a war and a privilege. she reveres being in the lives of so many and hates that the space she takes up often has little meaning. she loves and hates and loves again. the hate makes her feel alive and the love makes her feel fear. she would sacrifice everything for love, including herself, and time and time again, it has left her hollowed out and abandoned. she is a kintsugi bowl that overflows until its emptied or breaks again. fragmented. fragile.
