Long time, no personal posts; me yesterday hanging out with my nephew (sisters bearded dragon).
Still alive, by some miracle.

Favourite NZ treat? I'm partial to a perky nana or pineapple lumps.
I don't often get pineapple lumps although they are good! If a little bit overly sweet for me.
I think I've mentioned Whittaker's chocolate before but I'll mention them again. Because they are just superior.
If I'm in a mood where I can stomach ice cream, I'll go for a chocolate or vanilla Trumpet. That's always a classic option.
There's also Pics brand peanut butter. Which I don't often get (although I used to). That's really good as well.
What is your favourite place in NZ? I love Wellington because its where my mum was born and raised, but also Wairapa Valley where my Aunt and Uncle live. Honourable mention to the cake area in Pak 'n' Save!
The Paknsave cakes are great! Although personally I am also very partial to the New World lemon loaves.
My list is going to be very South Island centric because I live in the North Island but most of my family lives down south. So I'm weirdly more familiar with a lot of places over there than up North.
When I was 11 over the summer holidays I got to go and see Milford Sound and that has to be the most beautiful place I've ever seen. So I have to include that.
I haven't been to Hanmer Springs in forever but it would be so cool to visit when it's not the middle of summer and I'm not overheating and dealing with a migraine. I'd really love to go back in the winter when (if) it's snowing.
Huge shoutout of course to Christchurch. Hagley Park is gorgeous and there is also the childhood nostalgia factor.
My favourite bookshop in NZ is this really cute little secondhand bookshop in eastern Christchurch that sells a lot of history books and classic literature. Just so delightful.
