Hello! When you came up with Rams’ backstory, did you ever add anything from when Rams was a child? if so, how did they act? What were they like? Dislikes? Likes? Etc?

Warning: Spoilers I guess if you've never seen SadSMP

Rams being the devil was created as an angel, so Rams never was a child. They popped into existence one day already knowing who and what they were.

They were originally very fancy and by the book, before they fell Rams (Lucifer at the time) was relatively peaceful before they realized the horrors of 'becoming mortal' and 'losing their powers' and rebelled against the Emerald Wyrm (SadSMP's version of God)

Just getting into SadSMP, how did you come up with the idea for Rams’ character?

I actually talked about it a bit today on a stream, but originally Rams (who is of course design wise based off my sona/mascot 'Rams' although their personalities are Very different) was supposed to just be a slightly antagonistic business/capitalist since a lot of the town was nature/natural/etc. so I figured it would be nice to have an oddly modern/industrial opposition.

However quickly with time and lore I adapted Rams to instead be 'The Actual Devil' that still fell into a lot of what they already were like, but now with the added twist that helped make Rams who they are today and expand things such as their backstory/add to lore to allow things like a casino (due to gambling being sin and in general the fact Rams is a sheep is supposed to be a mockery of 'lamb of god' kind of deal)

I really can't explain how much actually streaming and playing out things in the SMP actually make the characters who they are, since in the moment you are actually able to develop and come up with ideas in the moment rather that committing to one piece of lore!
