I have literally driven by Ram‘s Gate Winery in Sonoma County 50 to 100 times. Always on the way to San Francisco or Sonoma, or on the way home. For some reason, we have never made it a destination, even though every drive by we say “gosh, we should go there.“ I had a great bottle of their Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir at BIX restaurant in San Francisco and I’m going to make a special point of visiting there and not driving by. This particular wine was a barrel selection of single vineyard grapes from Sonoma Coast.
