I just got accepted back to school to finish my degree. So either my Mando’a productivity will sink to nothing, or it will soar as I’m procrastinating on writing (I like research, writing the report not so much). One of the two. 😆 Anyways, it should hopefully be a fairly short sprint to the finish line, as I have no courses left to take.
Blog will keep running on queue and unfortunately probably stay untagged in the meanwhile.
I just bought a new (to me) car. I haven’t ever owned a car with so few miles on it. I don’t think I’ve ever driven a car with so few miles on it. I may have sat in one, once. Fucking identity crisis right there when I’m no longer driving a beat-up piece of junk.
I just realised that the fact that my pinned post has reached its third reblog means that I’ve apparently written 200 (more or less) posts of Mando’a linguistic nerdery. Wow. When I opened this blog I just meant to have an account to reply to other people’s amazing posts and maybe yap a little about my little project of expanding the dictionary a little with some of the obvious derivations. Talk about losing an entire arm when you meant to give just a finger…
I attempted to (unsuccessfully) dig a half-written post from 2024 out of my drafts. And I. Have so many drafts. Posts that I’ve saved when the queue was full. Posts I wanted to read before queuing. Posts I wrote half a reply to and then something came up and I never got back to it (if you never received a reply from me, I’m so sorry 🫣). Stuff I wanted to reconsider before replying or queuing. Like sediment.
Yeah anyway looking like it might be easier to just write a new post.
#Mandomarch might just fall on a time I’m too busy with other stuff to participate (again), but I’m thinking of putting the queue (which my blog usually runs on) on hold for the month and going on an archive dive instead & reblogging old posts with the weeks’ themes. Not exactly participating but hyping from the sidelines? 🤔
