Because our taxes bail them out of their losses. The small farm goes bankrupt, the mega dairy absorbs their production and also gets rewarded with more Bailout money for them vs spread to the dairies that go bankrupt. Please. This is important. We aren't solving saving animals thru our veganism. As hard as that is to swallow...we have to and we have to understand this food system is rigged and has been since 1933. Dairy production increased 2017 to 2018 and 2019 and is increasing 2020. This is the USDA numbers. Production increasing. What industry would increase production after years of losses? One that plays the system. AS AN ACTIVIST YOU MUST FOLLOW THE USDA PRODUCTION LIKE A BIBLE. THIS TELLS US IF WE ARE SAVING ANIMALS. THEIR LOSSES ARE BECAUSE OUR VEGANISM AND PLANT BASED OPTIONS STEALING THEIR MARKET SHARE... BUT THE ANIMALS NEVER GET TO SEE THIS BECAUSE OUR TAXES ARE USED AS A SAFETY NET.
