Set in an AU where Randall begs to join Layton on their trip to uncover the mummy girl so he can meet his life-long idol Professor Sycamore. He then proceeds to immediately recognize Raymond and clock des on the spot. The rest of the trip they have a lot of tension.

While descole is 100% manipulating randall and he's doing it well, I dont think randall is a slouch either.

Even without his memories, randall still has his headstrong and assertive personality. Especially since he views des as a friend/benefactor at this point in the game, I think his jokester aspects remained and des just had to grit his teeth and humor him until the end of their partnership.

Also, since miracle mask is the game of putting des in the hot seat, I feel the dynamic is fitting. I need to crunch these two in my fist.
