How about an alien with autism that can shapeshift into a human but the shapeshifting is very energy-draining and it tries the best to understand the humans while trying to disguise itself as a human.

I also have had this character in my head for a few days.

A moon fae. A male, but the only way to know that is to see him undress or know him personally. He dresses in silky robes, seductive and sultry. He has unblemished skin and a delicate, pale form almost like a humanoid. He has these abundant silver moth wings that span larger than his body, and are both beautiful, yet simple. No fancy designs, just powder like sprinkles of moonlight. Long fingers with white nails. Soft lips in a quiet smile. Pointed ears with a dash of stormy grey at their tips. Enchanted, soft face with large silver eyes with no pupils that are the largest thing in his face. Long white lashes. A small curved nose. Long, silky hair like a line of moonlight through blinds that cascades down his back. Sharp, sharklike teeth hidden behind those lips. A lengthy, smooth cock with a sight curve that leaks in a way that tempts, you just know he is the icing you crave. A softly layered voice, like he is humming or buzzing.

I don't have a name for him yet. But I can see him clearly in my head.
