I have a secret... I selfship with Squiddo and Ashswag... And I didn't know Squiddo was genderqueer. Pls don't bonk me in the head.
I have a confession to make...
Random confessions because I'm bored (again) part 2!!!
Before I was into Gacha, I wasn't inspired by those gachatubers like Cutie Pun Pun or RozyClozy. No, no. I got into the Gacha Community because I was inspired by Kawaii Ichigo Chan and 707, who are both into making (mostly) Japanese urban legend videos on YouTube. Yes, I got into gacha because of Japanese urban legends.
Not only that, I am a massive fan of every urban legends/folklore from every country. Well, you can say that this is also a fun fact about me and not just a confession. I just absolutely love all sorts of urban legends and folklore from a very young age, despite knowing that I am scaring the living shit out of me because of it.
Why am I still into it knowing that I won't be able to sleep at night because of some particular urban legends or folklores? Well, you can say that I just enjoy reading about it or just enjoy torturing myself with it. But hey! At least it helps me build up some resilience and confidence. (Actually no. This is a lie. It didn't help me gain resilience or confidence.)
Anyways, one of my favorite urban legends would be Shirime from Japanese urban legends. What exactly is a Shirime and why is it my favorite? It's not exactly on my top list of favorites, but I just love how weird it is in the stories! I mean, just look at it!
What do you mean there's a youkai that would strip off it's clothes only to flash you with it's ass, showing you the singular, bright eyeball that's on it's butthole!? As much how absurd it sounds, this actually made me laugh.
Another one of my favorites is the Tiyanak from Philippine folklore. And for those who don't know what a Tiyanak is;
The Tiyanak (or Tianak) is a terrifying creature in Philippine mythology, but its origin is deeply tragic, stemming from the loss of innocent life. It is typically described as a vampiric entity that takes the form of a helpless, crying baby to lure unsuspecting travelers in forests or isolated areas.
There are multiple origins behind the Tiyanak and it's sad, to say the least.
Some say that a Tiyanak is a restless spirit of an infant who couldn't go to heaven because they haven't been baptized yet.
In a more modern version, a Tiyanak is a spirit of an infant who died during birth or abortion.
Either way, if y'all want me to yap about something, plus hearing me stuttering while do so. Just ask me about urban legends and I would absolutely do start yapping about it. This just shows how interested I am and how much I love it!
Also, another note; since a lot of people in the TFC fandom are making their own TFC ocs, whether it's their MC or one of the performers, one of my TFC ocs is inspired by the Manananggal from Philippine folklore! I haven't finished designing them yet, but I'll post them here when I do finish it.
Just ate a super bowl of soup lol (random confession I know) Like, how I loveeee soup, it's super cozy, warms you up, healthy, and you can make it with whatever flavor you want adding seasoning and spices. Soup is life fr 😭🙏🏻🎀
It feels weird to know I literally have the touchscreen laptop (my tablet w an attachable keyboard) i used to imagine when i was ten. I thought having something like it would be super cool. Weird how i still don't think I'm cool, but child me, my younger self would think I'm the coolest person on earth if she knew.
I'll admit, since the first Amanda the Adventurer variation came out in like 2022, I've been wanting to make a Team Umizoomi version of it.
//I always fall for the underlined text with a link on it that leads to nowhere.
