Normally, I'm not the most extroverted student in the class. I usually don't talk to anyone in my class except my close friends. But one day, I went early to the English class and I was the only student there.
Another introverted student in my English class came to me and told me, in the most serious face I have ever seen him do, "There is a really important question that came to my head."
So, I put my phone in my pocket and gave him all my attention. I thought that the question was about English, you know, the class we are in.
He said, "What is better: French fries or the superhero?"
I stopped for a few seconds, trying to process what he had just said. Realizing that he was serious, I tried so hard not to laugh and I said with a straight face, "In which way?"
"In general," he said.
A few moments of embarrassing silence followed, and I said, "Well, I think we should make a comparison."
Then, I saw him holding a pen and a paper, saying, "I thought of that too."
And we started writing advantages and disadvantages for each of them.
After we had filled two papers, we heard the English teacher saying, "I prefer burgers. Now, can you two focus on the class!"
Then, I looked around the room with an embarrassed look on my face to see that the whole room was looking at us, turning us into the weird students in the class for a week.
And people still ask me why I can't talk to others very well!
