-I've been scribbling walls since forever and my parents could never stop me even if they put paper up I'd supposedly tear it down and draw on the walls -I have double jointed thumbs [<-still horrible at thumb wars and hurt if I play too long with controllers -I eat hot dogs right out the package[I also like vienna canned sausages] My mom dosen't like that I do that at random, it just taste like sandwitch ham tbh the more you know!

While rewatching the Incredibles movie, I realized that the island they drop Bob in looks similar to Koholint Island from Link’s Awakening

Yknow it kinda does! Though I mean, there’s only so many ways tropical islands form, especially if there’s a big honkin volcano in the middle. But yeah I see the similarities!

AS USUAL, i am not going to invade peoples inboxes, BUT--

three random facts:

I have a rare disease in my left knee called Osgood Schlatters disease, i've had it since i was a kid. It's not rare in children but it's rare to last as long as it has with me! It's meant to grow out but i stopped growing really early (i'm smol lmao) so it's stuck with me all through childhood into adulthood and refuses to leave. Looks like i have two knee caps lmao.

i have been stabbed in the thigh with a pen knife, it... didn't actually hurt (i'm assuming adrenaline played a part there) and i dont remember it hurting much afterward either, but it bled like a motherfucker. I never got stitches cause i was scared of telling anyone so i just hid it, i was quite young (i should have absolutely gone to the hospital haha) so the scar is small but like... chonky lmao. i remember the stab really clearly i remember never getting help for it, but i legit have no memory of the healing process but hey it's healed! It's weird.

I used to play league of legends with Osric Chau? The guy who plays Kevin Tran in Supernatural. lil shit had a "hacked" maxed out account cause he knew the developers!

Hm, let's see...

Favorite flower: Violets. I did name my Watcher after them, after all. :-D And Fjóla, my character for the Leaden Key ttrpg campaign that's yet to begin, is essentially named for them too. This has also left me retroactively noticing flowers associated with other characters' names where they weren't meant to be, e.g. Idalia = dahlias and her mother Zyanya = zinnias.

I enjoy cooking, but lately I am just very tired of having to do so on such a regular basis XD It's probably burnout from the last two years of my teaching routine involving weekends full of lesson planning plus also trying to get cooking done then to be ready for the school week, so now the kitchen is associated with lesson planning and overworking. New year's resolution: Eat out more?

Starting this school year, I'm now a department chair. :-D The teacher who chaired our department when I started here retired at the end of the last school year and I'm up next. I almost didn't apply for the position, considering how many different levels I'm teaching and have to do prep for (I mean, I'm the only Latin teacher so I have four levels of that, plus I teach some of the French 1 sections since enrollment there is too high for our other French teacher to fit them all in her schedule) but now I'm excited for it. We'll see if I'm still excited in a few months when I discover just how much extra work I've taken on... 😅

okay, so these are pretty random 🤣

i'm dogsitting for friends right now and really want a dog. my fish, michael scott, died a few months ago may he rest in peace 😭

the reason you guys see posts from me all day and night and can never figure out what time zone i live in is because my work schedule is really odd and as a result i'm up at all hours of the day and night 🤣i also schedule a lot of posts that go up when i'm sleeping.

one time a random ice storm hit atlanta and the rest of y'all made fun of us for months (we still haven't forgotten that btw) but i actually lived at work for four straight days 😭😭😭 i've never cherished a hot shower as much as i did after that mess.
