Super disappointed abt lack of demodragon. And the bats.

I have my GRIPES, OKAY???

I know a demodragon was always gonna be a little farfetched. Even WITH all the signs pointing to some massive solid eldritch murder monster lurking in the assumed depths of the Upside Down. we have the flayer but eh. it's tough to be scared of a cloud. like grab a good leafblower an you're set, y'know?

but that isnt even all of my gripes here.

They've had years to do this season and yet somehow it seems like they've retconned EVERYTHING to make something work while claiming that something was there since day 1.

maybe the theory of it was, but i doubt the whole damn thing had been fleshed out properly that long ago.

1: WHY the roars, what made them?

They had another one this season, it was louder, longer, and deeper than any other of the monsters. Yet? Just demodogs and demogorgons roaming around this apparently empty void between worlds.

2: Where are the bats?

There were fuckin SWARMS of those things, and they were still MOVING when Henry got taken out in that attic, not quite dead, just dazed enough to be harmless.

It seems like they've been completely removed JUST so the military could have this whackadoo base there cause they would not be able to have that with those bats around, it'd be a constant fire fight with them and they'd lose.

3: What self respecting eldritch cloud would allow humans to just brazenly wander through its wormhole?

Sorry but if these base assholes arent all flayed then wtf was the point in adding that it could do that? What self-respecting monster would just ALLOW vermin to roam around its temporary realm like they own the place?

like it didnt even let a kid accidentally dream walk through it lmao and it was definitely IN the upside down from S2's cool flipperoo snowball scene. It was there.

4: You're telling me this big ass X marks the spot gate opened up and not a single dog/bat/gorgon wandered through anywhere along the stretches of those lines BEFORE it was duct-taped with metal sheets? Mmmmmnnnnnnnnnnn, sure Jan.

5: Ew lighting why?

Max's scene in Dear Billy was fuckin monumentally epic. it was beautiful, it was fucking visually stunning and it gripped you right where your doki's go to cry.

So why oh why oh why, did this new scene between holly and Max suddenly feel like we were watching a brightly lit stage play?

I'm thinking these bitches come out of these eggs in multiples, not just one, maybe up to ten hatch from one egg at a time, and those eggs are laid by something much much bigger.

okay okay, so i'm re-watching stranger things. and i'm on s4 e7, Massacre at Hawkins Lab, and the gang in the upside down hear this sound just after the earthquake at UD!Skull Rock.

it's louder. It's longer. it's one long continuous roar peppered with little bat ones around it. It doesnt sound like a demogorgon, it doesnt sound like a bunch of bats all screeching at once.

it sounds like one, very big monster.
